Preparing for ACCOTS Arrival

• What do I need to prepare for ACCOTS arrival? 

Ensure 2 x IV access 

Ensure 2 x identification bands 

Sufficient drugs made up for the duration of the transfer and spares (plus anything additional the DCC has requested) 

All medical and nursing notes copied to include the medication record 

Ensure family are aware of the transfer and provide contact details for NOK
