Dr Richard Browne
Clinical Director ACCOTS
Richard led the setup and development of the service since its inception in 2020 and jointly led the evolution of Adult Critical Care Transfer Services nationally for NHS England.
His other roles include the Clincal Service Lead for the Critical Care Department at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham as well as Joint Medical Lead for the West Midlands Critical Care Network.

Completed my nurse training in Sheffield in 2002, initially working in Chesterfield ITU. Moved to Glenfield Hospital in 2009, becoming a sister.

I enjoy teaching and have a keen interest in simulated practice as it gives educators a chance to consolidate/assess understanding of education delivered and give the opportunity for staff who learn best through practice the opportunity to fulfil their potential.

Andrew Boazman
Andrew has a background in Critical Care/Outreach and PHEM. He developed a passion for transfer medicine whilst working as a flight nurse for an international aeromedical company. Andrew has a keen interest in clinical education and is developing his leadership portfolio deputising for the Lead Practitioner.
