• Can ACCOTS take patients' property? 

ACCOTS will take essential property such as glasses / hearing aids / mobile phone (if patient awake) 

ALL other property should be taken by relatives or placed into safe keeping storage at the referring hospital 

There is limited space in the ambulance to be able to securely stow items so this is why we are unable to take larger amounts of property. Safety of the patient and team is paramount.

• What does ACCOTS carry? Medications / equipment? 
  

ACCOTS carry a wide range of state of the art transfer equipment and medications to manage critically unwell patients during transfer.
