Carers and Relatives

• Can family members travel with the patient? 

Due to the nature of the patient's we transfer and their clinical condition family members are not able to travel with the patient. 

There may be discretion for very select patient groups - very young adults or those with additional support needs whom are awake. In which case this needs pre-agreement with the DCC, all members of the clinical and driving team must be in agreement following patient assessment and family member will travel in the front with the driver.
